If you have been offered a settlement agreement anywhere in England or Wales, we can advise you free of charge, the same day, without you leaving home. We work with clients nationwide by phone, email and video, and in almost every case your employer pays our fee. You deal with a named, specialist employment solicitor who reviews your agreement, tells you plainly whether it is fair, and negotiates for more where your claim supports it.

You do not need a solicitor on your high street

Settlement agreement advice is one of the few areas of law where where you live genuinely does not matter. The agreement can be sent to us by email, the advice given by phone or video, and the adviser's certificate signed and returned electronically. The law simply requires that you take advice from a qualified independent adviser; it does not require them to be local. So the sensible choice is not the nearest firm, it is the right specialist. We advise employees from Cornwall to Northumberland exactly as we advise those on our doorstep in Canary Wharf, and just as quickly.

How the remote service works

  1. Send us your agreement and your employment contract by email or upload.
  2. We call you, usually the same working day, and talk you through every clause in plain English.
  3. We tell you whether the money is fair, separating what you are owed from genuine compensation, and value any claim.
  4. We negotiate improvements with your employer where the leverage is there.
  5. We advise you formally, sign and return the certificate electronically, and you are done, often within a day or two.

Free to you, wherever you are

Because taking independent legal advice is a legal requirement for a settlement agreement to be valid, your employer contributes to your legal fees as standard, and we invoice them directly. For a standard agreement that normally covers the whole cost, so you pay nothing, whether you are in Leeds, Plymouth or Norwich. If your matter is more complex, we tell you up front. See our pricing.

The same specialist advice, nationwide

Distance changes nothing about the quality or speed of the advice. We handle the full range: redundancy and restructure exits, performance and capability situations, negotiated departures, senior packages with bonus and share awards, and disputes involving discrimination or whistleblowing.
