What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. They let a site remember things between pages or visits, and help the site owner understand how the site is used.
Cookies we use
Essential. Some storage is needed for the site to work, for example keeping the progress of a chat with us while you move between pages, and keeping staff signed in to the private admin area. The site cannot work properly without these.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies with names starting _ga. The information is collected in a form that does not tell us who you are.
Search visibility. We use a visibility tool from our marketing partner that measures how the site performs in search. It helps us understand which pages people find us through.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell information about your visit to anyone.
How long they last
Essential storage lasts only as long as it is needed, usually until you close your browser or finish a chat. Google Analytics cookies can last up to two years unless you delete them sooner.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies from particular sites. If you block essential storage, parts of the site, such as the chat, may not work. You can stop Google Analytics on every site you visit with Google's own browser add-on.
Your information
For how we handle any personal information you send us, for example through an enquiry form, please read our privacy policy.
