What to expect when you instruct us.
Settlement agreements
If your employer has offered you a settlement agreement, the law says you must get independent legal advice before it can be binding. We read the whole agreement, explain in plain English what you are giving up and what you are getting, and check the payment, tax treatment, reference wording and any restrictive covenants. Where the offer looks low, we tell you and can negotiate for you. In most cases your employer contributes to our fee, so the advice costs you nothing. Employment law for employees
We advise employees on unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, whistleblowing and workplace disputes. We start by setting out the facts and the time limits, which in most tribunal claims are short, and then give you a straight view on the strength of your case and the realistic options.
